The MOPA3 laser marker is Automator's high-power, high-precision system designed for extremely fast production lines that need sharp, deep marking. Thanks to MOPA technology, it combines crisp, durable marks with a flexibility that a traditional fiber laser can't offer.
MOPA3 is a modular system that's extremely convenient to work with: the main unit houses the source and the logic board in two separate compartments, so dust entering through the cooling fans never reaches the electronics, which stay fully isolated. Galvanometers and lenses are housed in the head unit.
Fiber lasers like MOPA3 allow a significant increase in source power without affecting the size of the laser spot: the result is deep, precise marking even at high power levels, with high overall system efficiency.
Laser type: Nb:Yb 1064 nm

Like all third-generation (Gen III) Automator lasers, MOPA3 also comes with a CE safety-certified dual-channel mechanical shutter, which lets the laser reach SIL3-PLE safety level, the highest safety rating available for this type of device.

The dual-contact safety shutter physically blocks the laser beam whenever the system detects a safety-related event, or whenever free access to the marking area inside an enclosure is needed. Low-cost lasers often don't meet this fundamental requirement and fall short of current safety regulations.
MOPA3 is controlled by Automator's EuGENIUS™ software, versatile and easy to use even for operators without technical or CAD-specific training:
Communication protocols: proprietary | Remote interface protocol
| LENSES FOR LASER 1060-1064 nm | MARKING AREA | FOCAL DISTANCE (+- 2%) |
| F100 | 60X60 mm | 120 mm |
| F163 | 110x110 mm | 190 mm |
| F254 | 155x155 mm | 290 mm |
| F330 | 200x200 mm | 380 mm |
