MARKING ON DIFFERENT HEIGHTS LEVELS: AN EASY SOLUTION

<>

Laser marking on ìdifferent heights surfaces is necessary when an irregularly shaped object needes to be marked on two areas at different heights with respect to the same positioning plane. Surfaces at different heights, however, also imply a different focal distance to the laser lens. For not changing the laser lens focus, therefore, it is necessary to move the marking head up and down on a vertical axis, but also on a horizontal axis for reaching the marking point and the perfect focal distance. In other cases, the piece to be marked has to be rotated, even a few millimeters with a rotating spindle. Optional axes are therefore necessary accessories for most marking lasers on the market for this type of application. There are cases, however, in which the difference in height of the surfaces is not such as to justify the purchase of additional accessories such as auxiliary axes or 3D laser scanners. For these cases, Automator Marking System has the right solution.

Automator Marking Systems lasers (which can also provide different solutions of auxiliary X, Y, Z  and Theta axes to move the marking head both vertically and horizontally with respect to a horizontal plane when really necessary) can also guarantee marking on surfaces at different heights, up to a difference of 15 mm, without purchasing of additional accessories.
