| Automator impact marking machines are extremely simple in theirs use and maintenance. Their operation, though springs in the manual models or by air pressure in the pneumatic ones, guarantees an always perfect marking with an adjustable marking depth. They are reliable bench machines, for aimed productions, where the marking space is a small surface. Their price-quality relation is extremely favourable. The Compact models (VP) can be arranged and integrated very easily in a production line. There is even a portable impact version Micro, the simplest and smallest impact unit with a marking force (adjustable) up to 50 Kg. for testing check. |

| Automatic Numbering head MB 2 |
Made using the latest production methods, the automatic numbering heads mark sequential numbers and can supplied to index after each stroke or after every 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th strokes (not changeable). Manufactured to the highest standards using specially selected and vacuum hardened steel, the numbering heads guarantee a clear mark in every detail. The vigorous demands of ISO 9002 certification ensure that the centring of the character, the uniformity of size and the precision of the engraving are all to the closest tolerances. The family of MB2 numbering heads contains more than 200 varieties. An enormous number of different variations is possible: combinations of automatic and non-automatic wheels (MB14); wheels with special signs such as letters, numbers, logos etc.; spacer wheels. The character sizes available are: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10 mm with standard, semi-narrow and narrow styles. Both letters and numbers can be used. The semi-narrow and narrow styles have a narrower width of character when compared to the standard style, thus producing a shorter marking length see marking length. |

Use the following formula to calculate the overall width:
B=5+5+E+1,5
e.g. Numbering Head with 4 wheels, 2mm = 5+5+11+1,5 = 22,5
So B=23 A=55 C=62

| In order to reduce deformation to the numbering heads with many wheels, we recommend only to use those heads listed over these colours: |

| Manual Numbering head MB 14 |
back |
Manually adjustale numbering heads are used when the text to be marked has to be changed very often. They do away with the need to remove a typeholder and change the individual types.
You merely manually index the individual wheels to the text you require.
These numbering heads are supplied in accordance with the table on page 9 and can be fitted with anything from 2 to 20 wheels. The wheels with character sizes up to 5mm height have 14 divisions. For example, you could have the numbers 0-9 as well as 4 additional characters (either letters or numbers) on each wheel. The alphabet is normally divided A-M and N-Z, or you can choose any combination of letters and numbers you want. For character sizes of 6 mm and above the wheels only have 11 divisions. This could be, for example, the numbers 0-9 plus one additional engraved division. The character sizes available are: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10 mm with standard, semi-narrow and narrow styles. The semi-narrow and narrow styles have a narrower width of character when compared to the standard style, thus producing a shorter marking length |
