Standard Interchangeable Steel Types

The types have been perfected by Automator International over 50 years of manufacture and are made to-day with the added re-assurance of an ISO certification. The manufacturing method using the latest machine tools means outstanding quality every time. The special vacuum hardening process guarantees the optimum hardness of 58-60 HRC.

Automator International have now been selling types on the world market place for more than 50 years to all branches of industry. The types are supplied either in handy font sets or individually.
- Small box sets contain 100 assorted types and 20 blanks.
- Large box sets contain 100 assorted types, 20 blanks, a pair of tweezers, a single line typeholder fitted with a spigot and a suitable allen key for locking the types in the typeholder. Types are supplied in the following standard sizes: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. They are available as letters of the alphabet, numbers, punctutaion signs as well as other symbols.
